Nevie Brooks (Denise) - 1st STAGE: Humble Boy (Rosie), Game of Love and Chance (Lisette). UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND: The Illusion (Elicia/Lyse/Clarina), Anton in Show Business (Kate/Ben/Jackey), To Be Young, Gifted, and Black (Iris, etc). EDUCATION: BA in Theatre, English from University of Maryland, College Park. Educational Intern with Shakespeare Theatre Company, 2009.

Zachary Fernebok (Dave) is making his third appearance at 1st Stage. 1st Stage: By the Bog of Cats (Ghost Fancier) and The Prisoner of Zenda (Black Michael). Recent: Opening Day (Active Cultures), Hermeneutic Circlejerk (Venus Playshack). BA in Theatre from The University of Maryland. He is a member of Infinite Stage Theater Company and staff at The Writer's Center in Bethesda, MD. He will next appear in The Perfect Chocolate Milkshake as part of the 2010 Capital Fringe Festival. Kristen Garaffo

Kristen Garaffo (Sophie) is so pleased to be making her 1st Stage debut. Her recent DC theatre credits include A Thousand Cranes (The Hub Theatre), Orestes (Folger Theatre), The Winters Tale (Wandering Souls), and Sex and Education (Doorway Arts Ensemble). Upcoming: Macbeth (Push Pull Theatre Company), You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (No Rules Theatre Company). She is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory.


Alice Gibson

Alice Gibson (Loretta) is excited to be making her debut at 1st Stage. Recent credits include: The F Word (The Inkwell) and Fever Dream (Woolly Mammoth Theatre). She graduated from the University of Maryland’s Theatre Department last spring and was able to work with many D.C. actors and directors on college productions such as The Distance From Here (Jenn), The Physicists (Dr. Mathilde Von Zahnd), and Filthy Rich (Anne). She’d also like to thank her family for all their incredible support.

Brian Razzino
Michael

Brian Razzino (Michael) is a regular on DC area stages and was seen recently at 1st Stage in Three Days of Rain (Pip/Theo), Native Son at American Century Theatre (TACT) and as Hal in Picnic at The Little Theatre of Alexandria (LTA) which received a WATCH nomination for Outstanding Play.  Previously, he has been seen at TACT in The Titans, COPS and Happy Birthday Wanda June.  Also at LTA, in The Philadelphia Story (Dexter Haven), Biloxi Blues and Broadway Bound, and in Edward III at Washington Shakespeare Company. Brian recently completed two feature films, The Shoebox, and King's Queen with Two Meter Films.  The Photon Effect, a feature length sci-fi film in which he is a principal villain is open for release in June. Brian received his training at the Theatre Lab’s Honors Conservatory in 2007 where he played his favorite role, Iago in Othello. He also recently created the Arts Fund for Child Health and Development at the Theatre Lab so that underprivileged kids could receive scholarships for training in the arts.  


Ryan Tumulty
R.J.

Ryan Tumulty (R.J.) is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Dramatic Arts.  This is his third full-scale production at 1st Stage, where he made his professional debut with The Prisoner of Zenda, followed by Marina Carr's By The Bog Of Cats.  Coming up this July, he will be playing the role of Macduff in PushPull Theater's D.C. Fringe Festival production of Macbeth.
